I was born in 1968 in Juchipila, Zacatecas,
Mexico. I was raised and graduated High
School in Mexico. In 1988 I came to the United
States and have resided in Elko ever since.

I started training in Martial Arts in 1992 with
Shihan Mike Sales. I received my Shodan in
1996 under Kiai Kempo. In 1998 I received my
Shodan  in Kyokushin Karate with Shihan
John Rynerson. In 1999 we joined the
American Kyokushin Karate Organization
under Frederick Buck as Tiger's Eye Karate.
Under the AKKO I have obtained the rank of
4th Dan and became the Assistant Branch
Chief of the State of Nevada AKKO. Through
out the years I enjoyed competing in
tournaments. I competed in forms, weapons,
and full contact. In 2009 I achieved the 2009
Title Belt in the "Battle in the Desert"
tournament, Senior Division.

In my spare time, some of the hobby's I enjoy
are Carpentry, Cycling, and Painting. I am also
the proud father of 2 kids, Eric and Vanessa.

My passion is Karate, as one of the head
instructors at Tiger's Eye Karate, I enjoy
helping the kids learn and appreciate the Art
of Karate. It takes dedication and skill.
I know it encourages kids to gain self esteem
and self control. It also helps the kids and I
stay fit.
